Quick, small update

Ok, so I don’t want anyone to get the wrong idea about my blog or my interpretation of school. I LOVE school here. It may be very different than my school, but I love everything about it. The people, the classes, everything! The small classes are great because it is easier to learn quicker as well as interact better with my classmates. I like how we don’t switch classes because it makes it easier for me to get to know more people better. I like how we all are in one level and not seperated into general, academic, and honors classes like at home because this way people that do better in class can help those who don’t. Also, it is more fun with people who like to joke around and hang a good time rather than having people in a class where all they want to do is study and aren’t willing to help anyone, but themselves. That is one thing bad about honors classes at home. They allow you to learn fast, but the classmates aren’t the greatest =S So when I was able to have a class with only one level I was sooooo excited =) It is so much better and a lot more fun and interesting each day. I keep finding more and more each day that there is always something different about each day. It’s not just an average, boring school day like back home. Something always ends up happening that changes the course of the school day to make it much more enjoyable. I love how everyone is still very helpful when I need them. I know it can sometimes be a pain to repeat yourself over, and over, and over again, but it all is worth it in the end, trust me on that one because by the third time someone says something to me I can usually pick it up…more or less :P I will get everything eventually I know it is just going to take a lot more time….and patience…

I love the computer, gym, and other extra classes. I may not understand a word of what they are saying, but it is fun to just partly relax and focus only on spanish. Although I am not able to do much classwork, learning the spanish is equally tiring. By the end of the day I am simply exhausted. Learning all the fun phrases that everyone teaches me is hilarious. I never quite know if they are bad or just slang so I am hesitant now, but I know I won’t be in the future :D Gym class was interesting today. One sport that I do not know how to play is handball and it figures today we played it xP haha oh well. I learned very quickly how to play the game. It is annoying when you can’t understand what the coach is telling you when you do something wrong, but I was able to figure out what to do after like the tenth try haha. I’m so happy that I’m finally starting to understand more what people say. I still think everyone speaks very very fast hahah but I’m getting used to it more and more I think.

So….basketball doesn’t start for another month now because the cancha, or court, still isn’t finished being made. I have no clue what to do now outside of school. Any suggestions on other sports????? I am going to try one last time to start basketball in another place tomorrow and I really hope I can. I am soooo excited to play and meet more people to bond with :) For the mean time….I have no clue what I am going to do hahah I’ll think of something!! Well this is all I have for now. I hope to have a new update soon!! =)
